Paulina Tokarczyk: From Warehouse Operative to Supervisor
Paulina joined Schenker in 2019 with no logistics experience – now she leads as a Warehouse Supervisor. Her drive to learn, support others, and embrace every challenge has shaped her steady progression. With leadership training, team collaboration, and a mindset of continuous growth, Paulina truly embodies our value of Pushing Limits.
Paulina joined Schenker in 2019 as a Warehouse Operative, with no prior experience in logistics. Her background ranged from hotel work to manufacturing in Poland, and she was inspired to apply through friends' recommendations.
Her career progression has been steady: from Warehouse Operative to Team Leader, and then Supervisor. “The progression felt natural – I’ve always focused on learning, growing, and supporting my team,” she says.
Paulina values Schenker’s strong team culture and learning environment. She handles daily operations, ensures customer requests are met, and stays connected with both her team and management. She appreciates the company’s commitment to development, having completed several internal training courses and a leadership program at UCD (University College Dublin). “Everything is available – you just have to ask.”
Learning is a daily part of her role. From collaborating with Customer Service and Transport teams to engaging in weekly improvement meetings and brainstorming sessions, she thrives on continuous growth and encourages the same in others.
Early in her journey, learning to operate VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) trucks gave her a confidence boost – a reminder that new challenges can lead to new strengths.
Paulina leads with kindness, professionalism, and clear communication. She supports her team by promoting further education and helping others build confidence. Her mindset reflects Schenker’s core value of Pushing Limits, “We never settle for the minimum – we always go beyond what's expected” she concluded.
